Walter "Wally" Herbst is the Founder of Wally's Malls. It is his love of vintage and vending and his life long journey to have vendor malls for vendors to work together to create a unique shopping experience

For over 30+ Years he was an electrician, vintage vendor, gumball machine route operator among other things slowly working to his dream
In 2009 he got into Residential Real Estate for the 2nd time. This led to him getting into commercial real estate in 2014
After selling at Burley Parks, Centerville, Allegan, St Charles, IL and other shows, he was finally able to open his original shop on South Division in Kentwood, MI in 2014 the founding of Wally's Treasures
Wally's Treasures, the vendor mall, opened in Nov 2019.
Wally's Castle, the expansion, opening in Wyoming, MI in 2022
Wally's Lake Odessa reopen (after 28 wonderful years as the Lake Odessa Antique Mall) in Oct 2024 as the 3rd Location
Wally suffered a massive stroke in May 2022. He is in long term care, while he can't come to visit all the malls that bear his name, we work hard to continue his dream and vision in Western Michigan
